Ultralight Backcountry Blade
The Ultralight XL version of our Lightweight backcountry workhorse. These blades make the perfect addition to your backcountry kit. Handmade from 52100 high carbon steel, featuring a 3.25" scalpal inspired blade to provide precision cuts when you need them most. Blades are coated with cerakote ceramic coating providing a durable low maintenance finish so you can focus on the hunt. Available with a 3D printed handle in the color of your choice, paracord handle wrapping or skeltonized, choose the handle that fits your style while knowing you will always have a secure grip on your blade in bloody or wet conditions. Each blade comes with a custom molded kydex sheath. This compact cutting tool is sure to be your new favorite blade whether you're chasing elk or checking off 14ers.

Product Care
Blade Care - This blade is handcrafted from high carbon steel and should be cared for accordingly. Treat this blade the same way you would your favorite firearm and it will serve you well for a lifetime. Remember to clean and dry the blade after use and lightly oil the blade in between adventures. For hunting use we recommend a food safe mineral oil or similar coating. For camp or general purpose use any preservative oil such as WD-40 will work great to protect the blade.
Sharpening - These blades feature a 20 degree edge bevel and can easily be resharpened using your favorite sharpening system. We recommend simply stropping the blade to touch up the edge during use.
